dc.description.abstractCerebral redwater is diagnosed at necropsy by the examination of strained brain smears. The majority of erythrocytes are parasitized by Babesia bovis. In the cerebral form of the disease the grey matter of the cerebrum and cerebellum is a reddish pink colour due to severe congestion. .en
