Date 2011-04-16 Availability restricted Abstract The objective of this dissertation is to explore architecture in a transitionary zone; aimly looking at the ability for architecture to address the separation between scale, nature, movement and living environment.The purpose of this dissertation is therefore to inform the design of a multi use, multi story urban precinct that enables the interaction of the city dweller in a campus like environment which talks to the surrounding scale while creating an environment grounded by nature, promoting human movement and interaction in a healthy living environment.
